WW1 Gordon Highlanders white faced enamel regimental sweetheart brooch

A scarce original First World War period 'Gordon Highlanders white faced enamel sweetheart brooch'; gilded brass example inlaid with white enamelling, depicting the Crowned crest of the 'Marquis of Huntly' a stag's head issuing from a Ducal Coronet with the motto 'Bydand'. Very good condition, complete with original pin fittings, no stress marks or damage to the enamel, gilt finish remains bright.
