A rare original Great War late 1918 transitional period superb quality 'Royal Flying Corps sweetheart brooch'; Crowned wreath, the centre mounted with blue enamel RFC central crest, flanked by large finely feathered wings, the reverse impressed '15ct' (15 carat gold pre 1931) and maker's details 'CP&Co' (Charles Packer & Co London). Excellent condition, complete with original pin fittings, enamel perfect.
