Royal Air Force silver guilloche pilots wing RAF sweetheart brooch

A superb quality scarce Second World War period 'Royal Air Force sweetheart brooch', George VI Crowned circular disc the cente bearing embossed 'RAF' crest inlaid with blue enamel within a green laurel wreath flanked by beautiful electric blue translucent enamel decorated wings, the reverse impressed 'Sterling Silver'. Very good condition, complete with original pin fittings, minor nicks to enamel wings not affecting the appearance.
