Royal Air Force pilot's wing gilt and enamel RAF sweetheart brooch

A scarce original Second World War period 'Royal Air Force gilt and enamel sweetheart brooch' with highly defined large arched wings, and central 'RAF' crest inlaid with deep blue enamelling surmounted by a King's Crown. Very good condition, complete with original pin fittings, enamel intact, minor wear to gilt finish.
