Royal Air Force pilot's wing gold RAF sweetheart brooch

A fine quality classical style Elizabeth II period 'Royal Air Force sweetheart brooch', Crowned laurel wreath with embossed blue enamel 'RAF' crest, to solid centre, flanked by finely feathered wings; the reverse impressed with Birmingham 9 carat gold hallmarks for 1996 and maker's details 'PL&Co'. Very good condition, complete with original pin fittings incorporating safety roller catch in good working order, enamel perfect.
