Royal Navy Fleet Air Arm gold pilot's wing FAA sweetheart brooch

A scarce magnificent Elizabeth II period 'Fleet Air Arm gold and enamel sweetheart brooch'; crowned green enamel laurel wreath with an applied fouled anchor to the voided centre, flanked by large finely feathered wings; the reverse impressed with Birmingham 9 carat hallmarks for 1986 and maker's details 'J.W.B' (J W Benson Ltd). Excellent condition, complete with original pin fittings incorporating safety roller catch in good working order, green enamel wreath perfect, minor restoration to crown.
