Royal Air Force pilot's wing silver RAF sweetheart brooch Thomas Lyster Mott

A scarce original wartime circa 1940's period silver and enamel 'Royal Air Force sweetheart brooch' with highly defined large arched feathered wings, the reverse impressed 'Sterling' and with maker's details 'TLM' initials within artist's palette (Thomas Lyster Mott, Birmingham). Very good clean condition, complete with original pin fittings safety catch hook a later replacement, enamel perfect, an excellent example.
