Royal Air Force officer's style RAF silver and enamel brooch

A scarce original Second World War period silver and enamel 'Royal Air Force sweetheart brooch' following the lines of a 'RAF' officer's cap badge, a King George VI Crowned eagle resting in laurel sprays, with an additional scroll 'Royal Air Force' inlaid with blue enamel. Very good condition, complete with original pin fittings, enamel intact.
