A scarce original First World War period Canadian Expeditionary Force '46th Infantry Battalion CEF sweetheart brooch' gilt and enamel maple leaf bearing Crowned shield with 'South Saskatchewan' Coat of Arms and scrolls below 'XLVI Overseas' 'Canada' and mounted to a S.M.L.E style rifle. Very good condition, complete with original pin fittings, enamel perfect.
