Royal Engineers Ubique Grenade 1980 Regimental Brooch by Garrard & Co London

A superb quality early Elizabeth II period 'Royal Engineers gold and enamel sweetheart brooch' in the form of a grenade resting on a 'Ubique' scroll, inlaid with vivid blue enamel; the reverse impressed with Sheffield 9ct gold hallmarks for 1980 and maker's details 'G & Co Ld' (Garrard & Co, London) the Crown Jewellers. Very good condition, complete with original pin fittings incorporating safety roller catch in good working order, enamel perfect.
