Queen's Own Hussars QOH gold regimental brooch circa 1966

A superb quality scarce cavalry regiment 'Queen's Own Hussars QOH gold and enamel regimental brooch', designed in the form of the cap badge, the reverse bearing Birmingham 9 carat gold hallmarks for 1966 and maker's details 'J.W.B'. Very good condition, complete with original pin fittings incorporating safety roller catch, enamel perfect.
Height 30mm.

The regiment was formed from the amalgamation of the 3rd The King's Own Hussars and the 7th Queen's Own Hussars at Candahar Barracks, Tidworth in November 1958.
