WW1 Royal Flying Corps pilot wings RFC 1916 silver sweetheart brooch

A good original First World War period 'Royal Flying Corps sweetheart brooch', convex example depicting 'RFC pilot's wings' with 'Per Ardua Ad Astra' (Through Adversity to the Stars) motto below; the reverse impressed with Birmingham silver hallmarks for 1916 and maker's details 'C.Bros'. Good condition, complete with original pin fittings, wing slightly lifting on tips.
