WW1 Canadian 1st Infantry Battalion Ontario CEF sweetheart brooch

A scarce original First World War period British made Canadian Expeditionary Force Infantry Battalion CEF sweetheart brooch' gilt maple leaf bearing 'Crowned ONT' over '1' resting on 'CANADA' scroll in red, white and blue enamel. Very good condition, complete with original pin fittings, no damage to the enamel, gilt finish remains bright.
