WW2 Royal Navy Ship HMS Renown silver tiepin sweetheart brooch

A scarce original Second World War period 'HMS Renown silver and enamel tiepin badge', displaying a representation of the the ship's crest viz. Naval Crowned laurel wreath, bearing flaming torch to voided centre and mounted on a slender triangular shaped bar, very typical of the period, the reverse impressed 'Sterling Silver' to both parts. Very good condition, complete with original pin fittings, no damage to the enamel.

HMS Renown was a battlecruisers of the Royal Navy built during the First World War commissioned in 1916, she served in both WW1 and WWII, and was sold for scapping in 1948.
