East Surrey Regiment silver sweetheart brooch by Thomas Lyster Mott
A good quality circa First World War period 'East Surrey Regiment silver and enamel sweetheart brooch' in the form of a miniature representation of the cap badge, an eight pointed star the topmost displaced by a Crown, the centre bearing a shield with embossed Arms of Guildford with blue enamel title scroll below; the reverse with maker's details 'T.L.M' (Thomas Lyster Mott) and impressed 'STERLING'. Very good condition, complete with original pin fittings, no damage to the enamel.
