Army Service Corps gilt and enamel sweetheart brooch

A scarce original unusual style First World War period 'Army Service Corps sweetheart badge'; ornate gilt surround inlaid with blue enamel and Edelweiss flowers, mounted with crowned star representation of the cap badge, blue enamel 'Honi Soit Qui Maly Pense' motto strap with 'ASC' monogram within. Good condition, complete with original pin fitting, enamel with minor service wear to the crown and hairline cracks to surround.
