Royal Air Force wing silver and marcasite sweetheart brooch retailer Gieves London

A superior quality Elizabeth II period 'Royal Air Force brooch', in the form of a Queen Elizabeth Crowned laurel spray enhanced with red and green enamelling, mounted with 'RAF' monogram to the centre between beautifully formed finely feathered wings set with marcasite stones, the reverse impressed 'Silver'. Excellent condition, complete with original pin fittings incorporating safety roller catch in good working order, additional safety chain, no damage to the enamel and housed in its original retailers presentation case in good clean condition, inscribed 'Gieves 27 Old Bond Street, London W1'.
