A superb quality scarce post 1969 period 'Royal Regiment of Wales gold and enamel sweetheart brooch', unbroken wreath of immortelles surmounted by a Elizabeth II crown, dragon to voided centre, all resting on green enamel laurel sprays bearing blue enamel tri-part scroll inscribed 'GWELL ANGAU XXIV - XLI NA CHYWIL YDD' and mounted on a slender bar impressed with Birmingham 9 carat gold hallmarks for 1969 and maker's details 'G & Co Ld' in trefoil (Garrard & Co London) the Crown Jewellers. Very good mint condition, complete with original pin fittings incorporating safety roller catch in good working order, no damage to the enamel. An excellent example.
