A scarce original wartime period 'Royal Air Force silver and enamel sweetheart brooch'; George VI crowned wreath, 'RAF' crest to voided centre inlaid with blue enamel, flanked by very large highly defined feathered wings, the reverse impressed 'Sterling Silver'. Very good condition, complete with original pin fittings, no defects to the blue enamel crest, the crown
initially plain has at some stage been enhanced with red enamel paint, this now partially worn away
