Essex Regiment 1915 silver rifle sweetheart brooch

A scarce original First World War period 'Essex Regiment silver rifle sweetheart brooch', in the form of a miniature representation of the cap badge the front with gold plated finish and mounted on a S.M.L.E style rifle; the reverse impressed with Birmingham silver hallmarks for 1915. Very good condition, complete with original pin fittings, rifle sling and all the gold plating to the front of the badge.
