Tank Corps gold and diamond regimental sweetheart brooch

A rare and impressive circa First World War period 'Tank Corps regimental brooch'; jewellers superior quality unmarked gold example, possibly commissioned by an officer and handcrafted in the style of the cap badge worn at that time, the crowned enhanced with a cushion of red enamel and set with diamonds, rubies and emeralds. Very good condition, complete with original pin fittings, enamel perfect.
