Durham Light Infantry 1914 gold regimental brooch

A fine quality large impressive First World War period 'Durham Light Infantry gold sweetheart brooch' following the exact details of the regiments cap badge, a well defined crowned strung bugle with 'DLI' to voided centre, the reverse impressed with Birmingham 9 carat gold hallmarks for 1914, maker's details 'GJ' in a shield (G H Johnstone & Co Hatton Garden, London). Very good condition, complete with original pin fittings.
