The Buffs Regiment silver and enamel sweetheart brooch

A good original First World War period 'The Buffs Regiment sweetheart brooch' in the form of a well defined dragon with red enamel wing, resting on motto '1572 Veteri Frondescit Honore' (Its Ancient Honour Flourishes) with blue enamel scroll below; the reverse impressed 'Sterling' and maker's details 'T.L.M' (Thomas Lyster Mott Birmingham). Very good condition, complete with original pin fittings, no damage to the enamel.
