A superb quality rare jeweller made pre 1958 period '3rd The King's Own Hussars gold and enamel brooch'; an unmarked example depicting a well defined running horse and bearing blue enamel scroll below. Very good condition, complete with original pin fittings with safety roller catch in good working order, enamel with minute blemish to scroll, not detracting from the appearance of this very fine example.

The 3rd (The King's Own) Hussars amalgamated with the 7th Queen's Own Hussars, to form the Queen's Own Hussars in November 1958.
