WW1 Canadian 56th Infantry Battalion CEF sweetheart brooch

A scarce original First World War period Canadian Expeditionary Force Infantry Battalion CEF sweetheart brooch' gilt maple leaf bearing a Crowned horseshoe blue enamel title 'Overseas Battalion Calgarry Canada' '56' to domed gilt centre. Very good condition, complete with original pin fittings, no damage to the enamel, gilt finish remains bright.
