Devonshire Regiment gold and enamel regimental brooch

A superb quality Second World War period jeweller made 'Devonshire Regiment gold and enamel sweetheart brooch'; eight pointed star the top displaced by a King's Crown', title circlet inlaid with blue enamel with 'Exeter Castle' to the voided centre; the reverse impressed '9ct' (9 carat gold). Very good condition, complete with original pin fittings, safety roller catch in good working order, no damage to the enamel, minimal service wear.
