WW1 Argyll & Sutherland Highlanders mother of pearl silver rim sweetheart brooch

A scarce original First World War period 'Argyll & Sutherland Highlanders Scottish regimental sweetheart brooch'; brass and enamel representation of the badge of the regiment mounted on a mother of pearl disc, set within a surround impressed 'Silver Rim'. Very good condition, complete with original pin fittings, no damage to the enamel, dents or edge knocks, an excellent example.
