Royal Horse Guards Sophos Product gold plated regimental pair of cufflinks c.1953 to 1969

A scarce original Elizabeth II vintage period 'Royal Horse Guards cufflinks', gold plated examples, the badge of the Cavalry Regiment and the Colours in hand painted enamels, housed in their original case, bearing retailer's details 'A SOPHOS PRODUCT. Made in England'. Good condition, minor service wear.

The Royal Horse Guards amalgamated with the 'Royal Dragoons' in 1969 to form the 'Blues and Royals'.
