Royal Navy Medical Service 1965 gold and pearl brooch by James William Benson

A fine quality scarce 'Royal Navy Medical Service gold brooch' in the form of a naval crowned Rod of Asclepius set with pearls, the reverse impressed with Birmingham 9 carat gold hallmarks for 1965 and maker's details 'J.W.B' (James William Benson). Very good condition, complete with original pin fittings incorporating safety roller catch in good working order, all pearls present, and housed in a green velvet lined leatherette case.
