Royal Navy Volunteer Reserve Diamond RNVR Crown & Anchor brooch

A superb quality circa First World War period rare Royal Navy Volunteer Reserve unmarked white precious metal, jeweller made diamond brooch, styled on a Officer's cap badge, bearing an applied red translucent enamel cushioned Crown over 'RNVR' title, anchor and wreath, all beautifully set with diamonds. Very good condition, complete with original pin fittings incorporating clip shut safety catch.
