Duke of Edinburgh's Wiltshire Regiment Colours of the Regiment Guilloche Enamel Silver Ladies Compact

A superb and rare 'Wiltshire Regiment ladies powder compact', the lid beautifully enamelled with guilloche 'Colours of the Regiment' and central badge of Duke's coronet and monogram 'AEA' over 'XCIX' within thistle sprays and title scroll; the reverse bearing Birmingham silver hallmarks for 1930, maker's details 'PK&P (Page, Keen & Page Plymouth, Devon) and 'PAT. APPLd FOR'. Very good clean condition, no damage to the enamel a few minor surface scratches, sound hinge and complete with mirror, the edge with minor flake to edge. Diameter approx 50mm.
