Women's Royal Naval Service WRNS 1968 gold brooch by Garrard & Co London

A rare superb quality 'Women's Royal Naval Service gold and enamel brooch'; in the form of a fouled anchor mounted with 'Naval Crown', the topmost ring a 'Jenny Wren' and to the base a W.R.N.S. scroll inlaid with blue enamel; the reverse impressed with Birmingham 9 carat gold hallmarks for 1968 and maker's details 'G&Co Ld'. Very good condition, complete with original pin fittings, safety roller catch in good working order, enamel perfect.
