WW1 Royal Flying Corps RFC mother of pearl silver rim sweetheart brooch

A scarce original First World War period 'Royal Flying Corps sweetheart pin brooch'; silver plated red, white and blue enamel RFC wing bearing 'Per ardua ad astra' motto scroll below, mounted on a mother of pearl disc, set within an unmarked silver rim. Good condition, complete with original pin fittings, no defects to the enamel, minor service wear.
