EIIR Royal Engineers 1984 Gold & Enamel 'RE Monogram' Regimental Brooch

A suberb unusual design Elizabeth II period fine quality 'Royal Engineers gold and enamel sweetheart brooch' in the form of a UBIQUE Crowned 'RE' monogram resting on a 'Quo Fas Et Gloria Ducunt' motto scroll inlaid with vivid blue enamelling; the reverse impressed with 9 carat gold hallmarks for 1984 and maker's details 'R W' in diamond shapes. Very good condition, complete with original pin fittings incorporating safety roller catch in good working order, enamel perfect and housed in a green leather velvet lined case.
