The British Empire Brooch CBE OBE & MBE by Norman Grant

A scarce fine quality gold plated 'British Empire brooch' designed by Norman Grant, the reverse bearing Edinburgh silver hallmarks for 1982, maker's details 'NG' (Norman Grant) and embossed 'For God And The Empire'. Very good clean condition, complete with original pin fittings incorporating safety roller catch in good working order, no defects to the enamel and with ring attachment to accommodate a safety chain or wear as a pendant.
Height 37mm.
Worn by women who are themselves holder of the Order of the British Empire and by wives and loved ones who have associations with a holder of the OBE.
