WW1 Royal Army Medical Corps White Faced Enamel Sweetheart Brooch

A good original First World War period 'Royal Army Medical Corps white faced enamel sweetheart brooch'; ornate gilt shield inlaid with white enamel, Crowned 'Rod of Asclepius' within a laurel wreath resting on title scroll to the centre. Very good condition, complete with original pin fittings, no stress marks or damage to the enamel, gilt finish remains bright.
Height approx 30mm.
