Royal Navy and Merchant Services 1957 gold nautical crown pearl brooch

A scarce original circa 1950's vintage period fine quality 'Royal Navy and Merchant Services sweetheart brooch'; small crown set with eleven pearls encircled by a blue enamel surround, the reverse impressed with Birmingham 9 carat gold hallmarks for 1957 and maker's details 'J.W.B'. Very good condition, complete with original pin fittings incorporating safety roller catch in good working order, no stress marks or defects to the enamel and complete with safety chain. An excellent example highly recommended.
