A rare original First World War period superb quality 'Royal Army Medical Corps sweetheart brooch'; large Crowned 'Rod of Asclepius' resting within laurel sprays, blue enamel scroll below 'CRAIGLEITH', mounted on a slender bar; the reverse impressed '15ct' (15 carat gold). Very good condition, complete with original pin fittings, enamel with small defect to the Rod of Asclepius.
