Royal Air Force pilot's wing silver and enamel RAF sweetheart brooch

A scarce original Second World War period 'Royal Air Force silver pin badge' large highly defined feathered wings, the centre bearing red enamel King George VI crowned green enamel laurel wreath with 'RAF' crest inlaid with blue enamel; the reverse impressed 'STERLING SILVER't and with maker's details 'AP' within a circle. Very good condition, complete with original pin fittings.
Wingspan approx 60mm.
