A fine quality circa 1940's period 'Royal Marines gold and enamel regimental sweetheart brooch', the red enamelled 'Royal Crest' enclosing a laurel wreath, with rhodium plated Globe within, applied to a slender bar; the reverse impressed "9ct" (9 carat gold) and maker's details "CP&Co" (Charles Packer & Co London). Very good condition, retaining original pin fittings, enamel perfect.
