A good original First World War period 'Royal Army Medical Corps white faced enamel sweetheart brooch'; ornate gilt shield inlaid with white enamel, Crowned "Rod of Asclepius" within a laurel wreath resting on title scroll to the centre. Excellent condition, retaining original pin fittings, no stress marks or damage to the enamel, gilt finish remains bright.
