A scarce fine quality gold plated 'British Empire brooch' designed by Norman Grant, the reverse bearing Edinburgh silver hallmarks for 1982, maker's details "NG" and embossed "For God And The Empire" Excellent clean condition, retaining original pin fittings incorporating safety roller catch in good working order, perfect enamel and with ring attachment to accommodate a safety chain or wear as a pendant.
Height 37mm.
