Royal Air Force pilot wing silver and enamel RAF sweetheart brooch

A very fine quality original 'Royal Air Force pin badge', 'RAF' crest within a laurel sprays, surmounted by a King George VI Crown, the large wings beautifully inlaid with sky blue enamelling, the reverse impressed with Birmingham silver hallmarks for 1954 and maker's details 'D&S' (possibly A H Darby & Sons). Excellent mint condition, complete with original pin fittings, enamel perfect. Highly recommended.
