EIIR Royal Engineers 1984 Hallmarked Gold & Enamel 'RE' Monogram Sweetheart Brooch.

A suberb unusual design Elizabeth II period fine quality 'Royal Engineers gold and enamel brooch' in the form of a "Ubique" Crowned 'RE' monogram resting on a "Quo Fas Et Gloria Ducunt" motto scroll inlaid with vivid blue enamelling; the reverse impressed with Birmingham 9ct gold hallmarks for 1984 and maker's details "R W" in diamond shapes. Very good condition, complete with original pin fittings incorporating safety roller catch in good working order, enamel perfect.
